Addressing Ageism
HLC Group Leader Dr. Burcu Demiray obtained project funding from the Walder Foundation to help combat ageism in the following ways:
- Educate: Launch a comprehensive platform to provide information about ageism for all.
- Connect: Foster intergenerational exchange and amplify voices of those affected by ageism.
- Research: Monitor and analyze ageism’s impact with real-life data and machine learning.
- Advocate: Reach out to policymakers for a more inclusive society.
Collaborators on this project include Erica Benz and Dr. Andrea Ferrario, Citizen Science Zurich, and the Digital Health Design Living Lab.
